Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has shifted public health priorities and affected health-related behaviors. This cross-sectional study explores preventive behaviors toward non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in the post-pandemic context among Indonesian adults. Conducted in 2023 with 1,500 respondents from urban and rural regions, the survey assessed changes in dietary habits, physical activity, and routine health check-ups. Findings show a moderate increase in health awareness but a decline in physical activity and delayed health screenings, particularly in rural populations. The results highlight the necessity of re-establishing NCD prevention programs and promoting behavior-centered public health messaging in the post-pandemic recovery phase.
